It is estimated that there are nearly 185,000 new products developed and launched each year in the United States. 105,000 of those tend to be food and beverage products. With the invention of so many new items to choose from, how do marketers work to set their product apart from the rest? More importantly, as marketers, how do we work to cut through the clutter of a crowded marketplace and get consumers to pay attention to a particular brand? Join us as we dig deep into the success of China Mist, a national beverage company that has managed to stand out and prosper in a very crowded arena.

Presenters
Rommie Flammer – President and COO of China Mist Tea Company
Dan Schweiker – Co-Founder, Co-Chair and Co-CEO of China Mist Tea Company

Shadow Day kick-offs on April 28th when you and your AMA student – the Shadow – will meet at the AMA Luncheon promptly at 11:30 a.m. Please introduce them to the “ins and outs” of professional networking with AMA peers.

After the luncheon, the Shadow will accompany you back to your office (or out in the field) for an afternoon of “hands-on” career observation and analysis. Take your Shadow on a sales call. Meet with a prospective client. Go on a press check. Or conduct a mock interview to help them sharpen their skills.
